Reviews
Truthfully, I’ve never had them before this so my review is based off of how good the food was objectively, not necessarily authenticity.
I asked the person what they’d recommend and they said the potato one. I got that 1/2 and 1/2, which is half cheese and half sausage. It was DELICIOUS. The cheese was way better than I expected, and the outside was crispy and flavorful. They have a variety of options, and it was for a good price. Would go again
Another whimsical stop! I'm 22 days vegan. I passed by and been wanting to come here since they opened, so here we are! Love that they have a few vegan options! I got the sweet potato vegan corn dog with fried dumplings and staff recommended sweet chili sauce. The corn dog was good. I wish they had more toppings like brown sugar, Cinnamon, or honey. They had granulated sugar but I avoid that. The fried dumplings were great with the sauce that came with! The fries were great too! Staff were super cool and the Kpop was cool. 4/5. Will be back.
A pretty new, hyped up spot on Wicker Park's Milwaukee Ave serving a solid range of classic Korean street food staples. It's counter-serve, and the interior is decently spacious, but there aren't too many tables in total. It can get kind of pricey if you're trying to have it as a full meal, as the portions are pretty small / snack-sized. But the prices are reasonable-- everything below cost ~$38.
My friend and I tried the following items:
- Rose Cup-Booki: Big fan of this one; the flavors were strong, the textures were soft and creamy; delicious all around.
- Injeolmi Corn Dog: Got this one with all beef sausage-- I liked it! The grainy flavor was pretty distinctive.
- Hot Cheeto Corn Dog: Got this one with all mozzarella-- the hot cheeto flavor wasn't as strong as I expected, but it was pretty good still with the sweet and spicy mayo flavors pulling through. As a whole, the corn dogs are better than Kong Dog (my only point of reference lol).
- Original Stick-Bokki: This was pretty good too-- the texture is tight and sticky.
A lot of people do takeout here, so we found a seat pretty easily on a Sunday night. The food was pretty slow to come out though. Overall, I was a fan and would come back to try the other stuff on the menu. They have a good amount of vegetarian options too!

Service and atmosphere; Came during lunch time on a weekday, it was not busy at all. There was a little bit of a wait for the food to be prepared, but it was within reason.
Food: I tried the Rose and Seoul cup-bokki. If it’s your first time trying, I would recommend the Seoul cupbokki because it has a little bit of everything you can try. I thought the rice cakes were decent, and the flavour was not bad, it also wasn’t spicy at all. My favourite part was the Korean corn dog that if I were to go back again, I’d get the corn dogs.
Parking: we paid to street parking, it wasn’t hard to find a spot during that time of the day.
Stopped in wanting to try my first korean corn dog I got the Stick Bokki "cheese" which was kinda sweet with this glaze that drizzled on it plus it is savory too. I was shocked at how good this thing was absolutely terrific. 9.0. The Hot Cheetos Corn Dog I had high expectations for while it was good but it didn't hit the mark for me. You get cheese pull from the first bite and the spicy mayo sauce they put on it is tangy too wish they added more on it. The hot cheetos they use aren't hot thou either, but they use a quality beef hot dog thou. 8.4. Finished everything with their blueberry lemonade which was phenomenal...very refreshing with the right amount of sweetness. 9.5. Overall I like this joint I'll definitely come back 9.0.
Probably the worst meal I’ve had in Chicago. Pretty unhealthy too. I think this has cheese sticks, hot dogs, and lots of fried food. The egg is hard boiled. Top tier korean food would try to have it boiled on the outside and egg yolk on the inside. I only finished half of it. Threw the rest out. A waste of $17 USD. But It’s better out than inside of me.
I was shocked that the sausage stick-bokkis were much better than the ones I could find in Korea! We went for some snacks so didn't get to try other items on the menu, but I'm definitely going back to try everything else on the menu :)
It was also very clean inside! Highly highly recommend!!
Very tasty food that isn’t pricy and is very filling! We got the Sausage Stick-Bokki which was my favorite of everything. The sauce was delicious and the rice cakes were crispy on the outside, which was a little different texture than the rice cakes in the Rosé Cup-Bokki and that was cool to use the same thing differently. The sauce in the Cup-Bokki was great, not spicy if you aren’t a fan of spicy but lots of flavor - almost like a red curry flavor but mixed with a creaminess like alfredo sauce. Then we got the Gamja and Injeolmi corndogs, both half n half mozzarella and beef sausage. They both were great. The Gamja we added spicy mayo and it was like eating crunchy french fries on the outside of your corndog. The Injeolmi was slightly sweet with the milk glaze and the powder was a unique flavor. We also got a Strawberry Bubble Tea with strawberry popping boba, it was very fruity almost like a smoothie with the chunks of strawberry in it. Everything came out to be a little under $50.
It’s very clean inside and there isn’t a lot of seating but the tables have cute stools and they have a cool mural on the wall. The decorating is simple but nice. The staff were friendly and the food didn’t take too long, and was fried fresh. This is a fun spot to try, even if you just stop by for a snack like the stick-bokki.
